The curriculum
The curriculum at APC, Chinar Campus aims
to develop critical and creative thinking and
self-discipline. We encourage our pupils to find their
own strengths within a structure and supportive
framework. A maximum staff/pupil ratio of 1:18 enables
teachers to give the attention each student needs. By
the end of the study period in HSSC, students develop a
solid foundation of independent study and a balanced
approach to broader aspects of learning. As a result,
the transition to higher education is for most a natural
progression. A comprehensive range of activities is
integral to the curriculum, including an outstanding
education programme, which has taken pupils to all
corners of the world.
Admission Policy
· Applications
for admission from prep to 9th classes are
invited in March and June every year through
advertisement in leading news papers of Pakistan, UK,
and Middle East.
· The
candidates are required to send a Bank Draft of Rs.
800/- in the name of the Principal Army Public College,
Chinar Campus Murree. On receipt of Bank Draft the
College brochure and admission form are mailed. The
admission form duly filled in, is to be sent to the
College by given date.

can also be downloaded from college website.
(Online forms will be
acceptable only if accompanied by a bank draft of Rs.
1100/-in the name of the Principal)
· Dates
for interview and test are intimated to all candidates
through letter.
· Written
test of one hour each is given in Mathematics, English
and Urdu of the previous class i.e. if the student
desires admission in class 8th he/she will be
tested in above mentioned subjects of class 7th
.
· After
test and interview successful candidates are given offer
letters which contain information about the date of
reporting at school and dues to be paid.
· On
receipt of offer letter College dues are required to be
deposited in Muslim Commercial Bank Murree.
The College uniform and other items are to be purchased
from the College contractor M/S Chinar Outfitters
located next to College gate #3.
Admission Criteria
1. Class Prep
to X
a. Entry test for
Prep to class 8th in English, Urdu and Maths. 9th, 10th
English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Computer.
b.
Minimum 50% marks in each subject are required to
qualify for the Admission.
c. Minimum 50% marks in each subject are required to
qualify for the Admission.
d.
Admission is subject to availability of seats in that
particular class.
e.
Medical Certificate from Army / Civil Surgeon.
f.
Character Certificate & School Leaving Certificate from
previous institution.
2. Class - XI
a. 60 % marks in SSC Board Exam for the students of APC
Chinar Campus, Murree and Wards of Army Personnel
serving in Murree garrison.
b.
65% marks for wards of retired and serving Army
Personnel serving in other cantonments.
c.
Fresh civilian candidates having 75% marks will have to
qualify admission test with 50% marks in each subject.
d. Admission is subject to availability of seats in the
class.
e. Medical Certificate from Army / Civil Surgeon.
f.
Character Certificate and Marks Sheet of SSC from
previous institution.
3. Class
- XII
a. Test in the subjects English, Maths, Physics,
Chemistry and Biology / Computer.
b.
Minimum 50% marks in each subject are required to
qualify for the Admission.
c.
Admission is subject to availability of seats in the
class.
d. Medical Certificate from Army / Civil Surgeon.
e.
Character Certificate & School Leaving Certificate from
previous institution
