Term Exams and Vacations:

The College academic year is divided into two terms.

1st Term                      - July - Nov

2nd Term                     - Nov  - June

Winter vacations          - Mid Dec – Mid March

Test and Examination System:

Junior School

Examination procedure is based upon continuous assessments which includes class

works, oral & project works and assessments tests. Final result is derived from all the four Bi-monthly tests.

Middle School

Examination System consists of continuous assessments, taken throughout the year including two term exams (Mid Term & Final Term).

Senior School

Examination procedure consists upon 1st Term, Send Up & Board Examination

 

Medium of instruction and Examination

APC Chinar Campus strive to live upto the reputation of an English medium College where stress is laid on developing and environment both inside as well as outside the class room, congenial for speaking English. Use of vernaculars is strictly discouraged.

Examinations & Evaluation System

There is comprehensive system of examination and evaluation adopted by the institution in accordance with the APSACS system up to the middle school. Evaluation process is divided into four phases i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Bi-monthly assessments and two full fledged terminal examinations i.e. mid term and final term exam.
From Class IX to XII the college is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad.

Passing marks

Passing marks for Internal exam are 50% for all subjects

Result awaiting candidates

Candidates waiting for the various board results can apply conditionally. For this they have to provide a provisional certificate attested from their previous institution. After wards they are bound to submit their DMC before the mid term examination in case of failing or less marks than college merit, their admission stands cancelled.

Payment of Fee

Write down the name of student, I.D #, and class on the back of Demand Draft.   Only demand draft or Cash deposit in MCB The Mall Road Murree shall be entertained.   Fee deposit through online banking and cash payment in College's offices  is not allowed. After the last date , surcharge will be charged @ 10% of total amount of the bill.

 

Attendance criteria

80 % attendance is compulsory for each student to appear in the final examination.

Policy for refund of fee
In case if student in the boarding house, his unavailed pocket money and food charges will be refunded if he leaves the college during the session

Financial Assistance
Financial assistance will be given in the following cases;
  a. Wards of Shaheeds from the Pak Army will get full tuition fee exempted.
  b. Students achieving 1st positions in class IX, X, XI and XII board results are offered full tuition fee exempted for next year.
  c. Wards of Army will get fee concession according to the SOP. please see the fee structure.
  d. 2nd Child of Army person 15% of tuition fee. 3rd and subsequent children is of 20 %.
  e. 25 % development charges incase of 2nd child and 50 % incase of 3rd and subsequent children are exempted from the fee of a civilian student
